How many players or in gatewars atm ?

Just wondering how many active accounts there are in the game these days ?

More then one might think. I've hit a lot of accounts I thought were inactive but people seam to log into and upgrade a little bit now and then.

How ever - only around 200 accounts are very active.

I bet you there were well over 800-1500 highly active accounts when it was at it's best era. And more accounts fairly active.

Whatever the figure... Its clear tetris only contributes 0.01 of an active person. So including people posting... We have 3.01 active players so far

At its best I would say the active account numbers were probably more accurate at 2-3k, maybe more.

There were so many players who just didn't bother with other players it was amazing, and the small alliances that no one took notice of were actually active, not just empty shells with forgotten accounts.

I usually dont pay much attention to the ticker but the most Ive seen online at once was just above 1800.

The number of players that log in to the game hasn't gone down as much as people think. However they don't stay logged in nearly as long nor do they use the main forums.

Yes, it could very well be as popular, probably even get more players with a little bit of advertisement and some major control put in place with the cash spending.
