Long term? Unity Alliance...a lot of those members went on to other alliances where they had a massive impact on the game.

Shame that UA disbanded three years ago.

Short term? The Drunken Ones, mainly due to it having all of the people I most enjoyed hanging out with in sgw.

Why? Cause we have had the best damn people this game has to offer wlk through our doors at some point and often more than once. We do not have the best accounts, the most active players, or the most obsessive in regards to gameplay. But we have the best community and at the end of the day thats why I'm here, not to click buttons on the server, but to chill with good people and have a laugh.

I have to echo the sentiments of others on this one. These are the ingredients for any alliance anyone would favour from a personal perspective, I could say that whilst they were around Nemesis was easily the best alliance community, we had one of the most active forums in the game, comparable to even these main forums with usually 3-400 hits a day bringing in people from Mayhem, DDE and beyond. We got nearly 10,000 new post's in a week when we re-opened the forums last year.

However, best alliance of all time in context of the overall game because of that?

Besides, an alliance lasting 1-2 years can have an indelible mark on the game. Dirty Dozen left a legacy much greater than many alliances that lasted longer - longevity doesn't mean an alliance is better, just more stubborn.
