Interesting paper

A mate of mine linked me with this paper that seems to divide playing styles of online MUDs and asked me if I felt any of it applied during my time playing SGW over the years

From reading it I do feel that over the years I've experienced players of all different categories described in the paper (Although I didn't read all the way through as academic papers get rather repetitive)

It seems to have derived from multiple user dungeon, expanded to multiple user dimension later on.

Reading through it before I read about the rebalancing steps I thought this game has a lot more clubs and hearts than anything else, although new updates on main and ascended seem to be bringing out the spades again.

Of course if you've ever wanted to buy a covert level you're probably a diamond backed player
