The Dailymail

I am curious, what is this newspaper/website worth within the British standards?
Because I often use this site as a way to gather information from UK/International, which are more or less controversial and less likely to be told in more "mainstream" websites like Guardian, BBC...

Re: The Dailymail

I use RT sometimes. BBC is a trusted source but they aren't much into controversial stuff.

Re: The Dailymail

A rag.

I'd wipe my anus with it if i wasn't worried my anus would then become bigoted and begin pushing for me to expel any foreign foods at immense velocity randomly and in such a manner it panics the less intelligent stools, who then turn on the foreign food stools and make my colon a very ill informed and xenophobic place to be.

Also, i believe my colon would begin to blame said foreign stools for the cold i caught. And perhaps start panicking my left leg with stories that by virtue of being on the left, it is more susceptible to catching cancer from chairs made of plastic.

Re: The Dailymail

It beats the politically correct sycophancy, the dextro- and sociocidal tendencies of certain damp rags (these would be the rags Tek did use), and the threat to civilisation that is left-wing media bias.

And it is amusing.

I do like the Onion better though. :P

+1

I've had my share of political correctness during my late-teenage years and the contradictions that went along with it.

Re: The Dailymail

I generally read The Daily Mail (although I do often also read The Express, Times, The Fleetwood Chronicle daily and even the Sun on occasion) as I am fairly left wing (definitely bigoted) but on the other hand I also do often disagree with a lot of their stories, and generally feel the standards of newspapers everywhere as being poor. One of todays front line stories was about a woman (age 70) who got a tattoo. I have to ask.. why the fudge i'd ever give a flying f**k about that in any way... or how the Mail and many other papers continually whine about David Cameron and Doctors getting paid apparently too much.

A) David Cameron and his government are doing a coin toss better than anyone has since 2003 (not much, but still better the same way man slaughter is better than murder) even if they are doing a U-turn every 20 seconds.. they've yet failed to take us to war for no good reason or amount terrible debt or even worse try to make us adopt the Euro.

B) How can anyone, ever complain that someone who saves peoples lives.. is getting paid too much when WAYNE ROONEY gets paid £250k+ a week, not to mention an innumerable other amount of useless, waste of space sports players. It boggles ones mind...

Suffice to say Pops, Jim is right. Stick to reading the BBC for a good news report, read the british tabloids for a good laugh at the incredible things they call news or credible opinions and read any paper from one of our former colonies (USA included) like its a kid bringing home their school report... just read and think awwww. Oh, Onion news rules.. their story about high court judges amused me greatly. "I am the law!"
