Blood Realm, brought to you by GW players

Blood realm...2 men enter 1 man leaves concept...when 2 alliances agree to war they go in, are locked in for the duration, and no other player or alliance can touch then....if a player leaves his or her alliance they are out, disqualified.

Remove the war/war only and replace it with the nox/ critical but have to where war/war comes in half the normal time.

Resources can only be gained by broker or market.

Scoring system..there are many ways to do it, DDE has a scoring system that can clock ME tallies during wars by minute, hour, day, month, year, years.....I realize players will be reluctant to use it because it's DDE's and all of that jazz..I'm not talking about the data base, but the actual scoring system..it is based on ME entries, it tracks kills, losses and the differentials per player...it can also be customized to score ME apart from the ingame points given..so for example the naq farmed won't be as high a factor as it is ingame now, but killing spies, defense supers, ms and planet stats will..

This is a rough outline here and before I leave this game I would very much like to see a system where players are free to play the game in more than 1 scenario without worrying about some idiot with a hyped up account killing off thier resources just for the hell of it..in other words sitting on them ( I hate that term but there it is)

Now couple this with some practical adjustments such as caps, power adjustments and the new mass adjustments and you have a variety of ways people can freely play.

Concept...2 men enter, 1 man Leaves
**2 alliances or players agree to a blood realm war and enter.
**Duration..options. Minimum 1 week, maximum 6 months
**Scoring..can be done by using an ingame M.E. counter or an outside customizable M.E. counter

**Format..
-2 alliances or player locked in for the duration
-participants cannot attack outside or be attacked from outside of the realm
-participants cannot be added once it begins
-if a participant leaves the realm they are out
-nox and crit available but war/war will kick in at 1/2 the normal attacks
-will include ascended lock in so all out war will be possible between the participants

**Blood Points
Like GNR points used for market and ascended..Blood points generated and can be used the same way but for blood realm only.

any other ideas please add.

Great idea, shame it can't be sponsored by the main game.

I fully back this and will be submitting my name to the first instance. Sounds like a lot of fun!

yh its a shame that feature never got ground. Can't recall if the orginal concept had a built in scoring system or not.
Maybe it is time Admin revisited the idea :)

I also think it would be good to use in vendettas too :)

Section Admins - who will be 'in charge' of the section in question. They will be responsible for the overall feel of the section, the setup/structure, and most importantly the community/users in the section. This will incorporate the old 'ombudsman' role. And insofar as the Section Admin is responsible for the users, they are also responsible for the high level mod behaviour towards the users.
So -as a user - if you have an issue with how you are treated, rules, bans, whatever --goto the section admin... They are there for you!

There is no 'reporting structure' in this setup -- tech, mod, and section admins are all on equal footing, each with their own (somewhat overlapping) responsibilities.
Mods report directly to the mod admin, and indirectly to the section admin for the section in which they mod.

What's to stop two alliances, say Alpha and Omega, "warring" each other, thus making their ascended accounts permanently undescendable? I believe this was the problem with blood realm in main...

I think moving forward in spite of those that would or could abuse it is better than the same ol same..I am sure SOL and his brilliance can find a way to link everything needed for this.

Perhaps have it so it doesn't take you to blood realm (which can be easily exploited), but initiates a different war exp counter? Thus only hits from you on them, and them on you, count in this new exp counter?

There's room for outside interference (if an outsider sabs you so your enemy gets cheap and easy kills for their counter), but 1) it'll be immediately obvious and 2) it'll be less of a problem than two alliances disappearing into blood realm would be?

Keeping outsiders from interfering is better for it to work, not everyone in the game is interested or can see in a broad view...if 2 alliances with c levels in the mid 30's want to have a war, on thier level, and without the lock out...a c 41 or whatever comes along and sabs em out..you want to make the game fun, more competitive, more appealing, close the gap, create competitive scenarios? Or same old same but with a new feature that would be essentially a waste of work.

Easy. Exclude ascension from blood realm.

Edit: Meaning exempt descension attempts from being blood realm only.

I like it, but I think there must be an amount of units lost per few days proportionate to the army sizes of each side, just to make sure that it isn't being used as a PPT.

Min def to be build per day by every member of an alliance or the alliance suffers a minus in score.
In order to keep people from sitting statless while some build up.

I suggest the following for serious discussions, sort of revamping the idea..

Blood Realm
**Autowar ? fine as long as 1 of the 2 alliances has the option to accept it or decline it
**2 alliance locked in upon acceptance of the war
**Nox/Crit available but no phase
**War/War kicks in after the current standard of attacks
**Options can include duration
**If a member of an alliance leaves the blood realm they are out
**If an alliance leaves they are out
**Scoring system either based on current ME scores or customizable
**Alliances that enter have fixed amounts of resources similar to the ascend tourney..all hard stats remain
**The only way to gather resources from outside the realm are black market or broker
**Include ascend lock in as well

unless admin makes alliances, just like main.

This cant happen. Till then this shouldnt be allowed to happen as theres no way to control it as a small group of people can change details of there tags to pretend to be another alliance or empire.
