Tried to convert some DMU I farmed into cache and randomly got this:
-29,661,940 Life Force Cache converted into Life Force Reserves.
No DMU changed and pretty sure that I lost nothing, just wondered if there was something going on?

Thats what I thought, but when I re-entered the amount into DMU to LF the number came up in a drop down box

I get that message sometimes when I try and trade more than I am holding I just re-enter and it goes ok

It was DMU to LF though, I definately did the right option because when the same number came on the drop down box thing I just clicked it

If you allow your reserves to fill naturally after an attack on yourself it will go slightly over the max..

mine:

4,465,194,133 / 4,452,560,625

When you convert 0 or the wrong number for dmu into reserves it will push it back down to the max.

now at max and not over:

4,452,560,625 / 4,452,560,625


Basically if you have 50 million more to refill your reserves and your recovery per turn is 68 million then it will go 18 million over the max.

Unless -in your described situation- when over the max, you convert 1; then you will go 67,999,999 over the max. (It will do a conversion 'down to cap'+1.)
