'tis a simpler version of GW for noobies who want to get a feel for the game before being thrown into the deep end of GW-Main. :)
They can play Newgrounds, ascend based on a different system than in Main (generation of 'GnR'-equivalent by a specific unit type), and after ascending 20 times, they get a Main account with decent average stats (exact details still up in the air, current highest ascension level in NG is 17). Newgrounds is beginning to reach a stage where wars are fought there as well, though that is so far still limited to a few of the older, more active players. Could be fun. ;)
