5 long years... Time for change

I've played Stargatewars since 2007. DDE caught my attention early, and my CO was DDE so it just made sense at the time. I joined DDE and 5.5 years later, here we are today. I need a change. I think i've shown my share of loyalty. Ive put in 5.5 years, had my account thrashed numerous times and thrashed others a couple times in the name of my alliance. I am hereby announcing my retirement from DDE. I will always consider it home, but i need a change of scenery to see if it's my current status that's boring me or the game in general.

We are currently at "war" with OE. Or the 1-2 people in OE who actually do anything. Take my advice OE, surrender. You're not making a point. You look like fools hanging on to a thread of what once was. OE was a power in this game. Now, you are an alliance that can build power, but cannot sustain it during war. Admit defeat. You've lost. That's not to say the days of Omega ruling are over. You need to rebuild, recruit, reorganize and recreate the empire that once was. I have respect for OE, for dominating the game for so long, but your time is at an end. Desert Phantom, make the decision that may ultimately save your alliance.

We are at war with FS. FS are much more active, more worthy of staying at war. Lack of activity on their side is attributable to the holiday season. I expect once the holidays are over, they will be back at full force. From their strong accounts to the weaker ones, there has been much more activity from fs and i applaud you for that.

I am ready for a change , to see if that will help me build my interest, if not, it may be time to retire.

In the meantime, consider me a free agent. I am looking for a new alliance, i am fairly active with a middle of the road account, i know how to play and when at a computer i can hold my own. Most of my time playing is via cell phone, where i am terrible. But i still check the forums actively and participate. PM me if you're looking for a great addition to your alliance.

I've served with Kat and I can tell you he's absolutely a pleasure to work with. Honorable warrior and can hold his own, and then some!

And I concur with his post - FS are much more of a long-term war machine. A force to be reckoned with. OE are great builders. They need to re-organize. I have a lot of faith in them with DP at the helm.

Good luck man, I have been in a few alliances, lonewolf was actually alot of fun. No actions hurt anyone else, etc. do what you feel is right man!

BTW - It has been a blast being massed by and massing you (offline)
(the one time i tried online guild jumped on me quicker than **Filtered** along with rob3rt so with you three and kadaj i think not much i could do but try to defend for fifteen minutes lol)
