Lifers sucks!
I am tired of losing 10% of my uu....and is not only 10% is that times 2 because as the number of lifers increase the less UU you can untrained!!! I think a new update should come on that reduces the losses of UU, is so hard to get them and you loose that many.....10% of my UU useless, that sucks....i personally agreed with most updates but this one makes me mad!

I don't actually have any problem with that. I need more UU for ascension than I have as lifers anyway, so I just count them towards that and don't really care. I suppose if your strategy is that you untrain all your units and make them miners for a PPT then I could see where you might lose some. But I don't do that so it doesn't bother me.

i've alwasy thought that, keepinjg in the spirit of sg, that lifers should get more naq/turn than normal miners. if they are 'banished' to the mines for life, then they would have to know more about it to survive, so they should take in more naq then nebiew untrainable miners.
There are some things in life money can't buy. For everything else, there's superior firepower.

I think you're all being a bit too greedy! If they were all untrainable then what would be the point? We might as well as remained with just normal UU the way it was - you have to have some sort of penalty for increased benefits!
As for 'lifers' earning more than normal miners - come on, be serious! There is potential for massive exploitation there! - i.e., train and untrain, train and untrain.

yes, but on the flip side those going for rapid ascensions with minimal UU lossess would be penalised further by exploiting such a feature...

Then obviously the way to profit is not to do it until you have completed your 6th ascension.
Ultimately, it is a 'make the powerful more powerful' suggestion.

try to ascend 6 time's => you loose in total like 500 k UU

I'm fine with it.
I'm in the middle of the "ascension ladder" and I now retrain all my UU into miners once I start again (like everyone from probably the very first ascended player did) and then I calculate how much a certain UP level costs for the reascension, and then go to that UP. With miners counting as trained and untrained, I only lose a small amount of UU.
I think magnifico is complaining mainly because he is a massive trader, so when you add the loss of troops when being sent, and then you train them into miners, he loses alot more than regular people do, because he is probably training and untraining miners all the time, so he produces lots more "lifers" than regular people.

i dotn liek the idea of all uu you buy in the market beign turned 100% into lifers, many reasons, oen beign that you cant ascend,... far too costly.
why nto make it buy miners. and these mienrs make a 10% lifer cost, thus will still have the desired impact of reducing buying market turns cos the market turns sellers will soon have no mienrs to give back to the buyers, or will make a 10% cost of transfering, which is quite heavy ,
thats my opinion on it, in any case, back to normal, or goign to mienrs with 10% lifers, or even 20% would be ok :S , but as all lfiers, is totally wack..

I think it would be a good idea if the 'lifers' did earn more, but were a separate train from miners. Just like you must train your 'advanced' attack and defense from the regular attack and defense, who are trained from UU, why not have lifers be the untrainable equivalent? For instance, it costs 1500 for a miner. Have it be like 10,000 for a lifer, but they earn 10 times what a standard UU earns.
UU = 20 naq
Miner = 80 naq
Lifer = 200 naq
But the lifer cannot be untrained. I don't know if this is a good idea, but the new market update changed the way some of us play. I lost my entire strategy for a fast increase in army size as a result. Now, if I want to continue to play like that I automatically lose 10% of them as lifers because I have to train them as miners. It's a pain in the butt.
