Do threats deter you?

i usually like to attack those with threats.

those threats in my opinion is like the same thing as saying "don't push the big red button"

I once read somebody's planet names, it was a song lyric. Quite good one, think it was Metallica ...

After BSG finished my planet names were the lyrics to All Along The Watchtower for about a year. Was a good set of planet names.

Everyone has seen that guy in main with a million threats on his planets or in his custom title, "Touch me and you will die", "My alliance will burn you"! Hell I even have some myself!

My question is, do you ever actually acknowledge them/heed their warning?

I for one generally don't care in the slightest; I mainly play ascended and as you all know if you log on ascension server, you will struggle to find a player that doesn't have a threat next to his name!

No, there was a time in my gw career I would mass and strip all accounts as such..I suppose thats how I gained my lovely reputation.

When i first started I took names on planets very seriously, If someone said they were protected by their alliance or CO (and providing they had an alliance or CO) I would think twice about hitting them. This was maybe for the first 3 months of my SGW life. Now days sadly names on planets mean bugger all

Same... only mine probably lasted a bit longer...
then I found inactive people who had said names on stuff...
and I relaxed a bit...

I think it reminded me of who was in the middle, say, between myself, and Robert,
is someone like... Loki? idk. especially back when the game was bigger...

I'm not quite sure what you mean? Are you talking about mass happy attitude or what?

I think he means skill-wise, though either way he clearly has no idea of your fighting style/ability

I like mathlord's planet names

My favourite always used to be when someone was claiming protection from someone who had never heard of them - one PM to said person, sit back and watch the destruction as they're massed by their own "protector".

Same thing with ascended - loads of people with tags which they shouldn't have...

This is the reason I never used to put my friends names in my planets... They'd be happy to mass me for a bit of banter, they'd pay it back but it was always fun

I quite like to read them; the fact they're so annoyed by me attacking them is enough of a moral victory.
