I was just browsing over the quit threads and looking at old topics that featured people long gone. Had me thinking of days long gone and what fun we had, banter between friends and enemies alike.
Question is who do you miss the most and what fond memory do you have of that person/persons?
Who?

Re: Who?
Mezz - He was the one person that was always on par with me account wise and we had gone to war against each other a few times. We were good friends going back as far as The Collective and Collective Swarm (along with The Great Races and The Young Races) vs Forgotten Serenity.
Robe - Sue and I had many awesome conversations, Many many years ago she was the one that helped me get into Ancient Brethren and from there I joined The Foundation of evil.
Those are just two off the top of my head right now.

Section Admins - who will be 'in charge' of the section in question. They will be responsible for the overall feel of the section, the setup/structure, and most importantly the community/users in the section. This will incorporate the old 'ombudsman' role. And insofar as the Section Admin is responsible for the users, they are also responsible for the high level mod behaviour towards the users.
So -as a user - if you have an issue with how you are treated, rules, bans, whatever --goto the section admin... They are there for you!
There is no 'reporting structure' in this setup -- tech, mod, and section admins are all on equal footing, each with their own (somewhat overlapping) responsibilities.
Mods report directly to the mod admin, and indirectly to the section admin for the section in which they mod.

Wonder why my post count is so low? Thats because I was deleted. Why you may ask?
Well, thats because I exposed the truth about Zeratul and Admin Jason had to cover it up.

Re: Who?
As with buck, the list is too long to count...and would have included buck until he just posted...
I always say Manetheren in things like this, but maybe what I should say instead were the 23 people that made up the Tauri Alliance in December of 2005. For those that don't know the long ridiculous history of the game, SGW was first opened in February of 2005. For the first couple months of the game, Tauri Alliance was one of the original and strongest alliances ingame. The first "server war" was fought between TA, EPA and ELUSIVE on one side and The Order of Chaos (goo, saz, apophis) on the other. By May of 2005, TA had over 300 members and was this massive entity with lots of great players and was a whole community in itself.
Then our first president Opticallove disappeared never to be heard from again. Lots of old members went their separate ways. Some formed different alliances, some joined the other big alliances of the time. TA's numbers dropped from 300 to 100, most of the remaining not being active. After a second war with a revitalized OoC and then a surprise battle with a young and very powerful Omega, TA could very easily have gone away. But the people that made up the core of players who weathered that storm kept the alliance together. We all knew there was something special about this community that we had made. If they didn't stick it out and keep fighting, I certainly would have stopped playing a very very long time ago.
Salut
