If the blood war mechanic works that way, isn't it therefore a valid tactic? If it works, it's obviously valid - questions about whether it's an 'honourable' tactic are a whole other chicken though.

Just because the mechanic works does not necessarily mean it was intended. As demonstrated throughout this game, many bugs have been exploited. This is just another one to add to the list.

Just read the list in bugs section, hence original post deletion. The fact it allows said exploitation is more an oversight from admin in implementing an update - much how having more than 10k normal turns is technically an exploit because you're circumventing the imposed 'limit' for having them.

I sure bet Delta would've been plenty happy to knowingly exploit a bug to steal our entire bank instead of 10%... If bloodwar wasn't so damn error ridden, none of this would've happened. And the tricks we used, we learned from you. Until Flux came back to Delta during the middle of the bloodwar, we didn't know that it was even possible.
