My guess would be between 500 -1000 players is playing this game.

Yeah I believe there are more then we think. There are a lot in the lower ranks just farming resources and selling for $. Not as many as there once were, though.

And it is a shame how easy it is to get in the G&R ranks and to see how many inactive accounts manage to stay there.

I can't speak for all the alliances but DDE is about 80-85(few ng multis), of course not all highly active. But I've kicked out a few completely inactive's and so has TAF. I believe OE has only actives left as well.

What we consider active is different. There are most defiantly less social players, ones who come onto the forum or Skype. That being said anyone with a defence has been active " recently ". I.e the last month. I suspect we have a few thousand players who log in once a day and a core 500-1000 who log in more than once a day. I also have seen players who log in a few times a week.

I don't think the game is in as bad a state as people think INFACT there must be a few people paying the bills to keep us online

Its seems we are a slowly dying race of text based gamers >.< how sad!

Also just an idea, I was going to propose that those who have been inactive for over a year should have their nox protection automatically turned off!

Grow a pair and mass everyone in the game. When they rebuild, you'll know they're active.

i guess less than 2% then actually are active on the forums. those people probably just login and play some then go do other things.
