Are income planets limited by natural income?
e.g.
our starting income is therefore (61,223 x 20) + (425,123,594 x 80)
Your starting income is: 34,011,111,980
x 1.01 for ad displays = 34,351,223,100
x race bonus of 1.4700 = 50,496,297,957
Planet X adds 17,931,600,000
is the 17,931,600,000 capped at any amount if i were to upgrade it? perhaps 34b or 50b?
thanks guys

Re: Income planet question
Dont quote me on this but it used to be 50% of your natural income but im sure there was an update that let you benifit from income planets a hell of a lot more. i would just go for 2.5tril income planets. after that it becomes counter productive to upgrade them anyway!

Re: Income planet question
so are you saying your planets can be equal to your natural income rather than the 50% it used to be?

Re: Income planet question
Income planets were never subject to the 50% rule in the entire history of Main.
This update, June 1st 2012, sums up the most recent changes to income planets:
Some examples with actual numbers:
If you have 0 natural income and x number of income planets, they provide a max of 10B per turn each (provided they are built that big).
If you have 6B natural income and x number of income planets, they provide a max of 10B per turn each.
If you have 11B natural income and x number of income planets, they provide a max of 11B per turn each.
If you have 200B natural income and x number of income planets, they provide a max of 200B per turn each.

Income Planets -per below - went to 5x what they were, with no limits on natural income or such.
This has had the effect of accelerating the growth/inflation of the game too quickly.
A vocal cross-section of the 'medium ranked' players -active and occasional players- have expressed the benefit to 'catching up to the big guys' and generally using this update to compete. Fair enough.
This update adds a maximum to each income planet of 10 billion per turn, or your own natural pre-planet income, whichever is greater. The 10bil is there to keep the benefit to the 'small guys' and medium or casual players, while curbing possible huge runaway inflation with a huge account(s).
This was done instead of reducing the benefit to 3x what is was...

Re: Income planet question
also, having no commander or officer - is the 10% bonus applied after planet bonus is applied or before?
e.g.
total with planets = 100b, so 10% is another 10b?

You know, there's a fancy 'explanations' page.Lu Bu wrote:also, having no commander or officer - is the 10% bonus applied after planet bonus is applied or before?

Mine says this:
So in order: units*income/turn, ads, race, CO, planet, officers, alert level.Support Income:
You have 2,220,490 untrained units; 713,213 miners ; 780,801 lifers.
You get 20 naq per untrained unit. And 80 per miner/lifer.
Your starting income is therefore (2,220,490 x 20) + (1,494,014 x 80)
Your starting income is: 163,930,920
x 1.01 for ad displays = 165,570,229
x race bonus of 1.1500 = 190,405,764
x 1.1 for no commander = 209,446,340
Planet Fortitude adds 35,700,000 = 245,146,340
x 1.0 as you have [0] officers - So you keep all your income.
x 1.00 for realm alert set at: 0 = 245,146,340
GRAND TOTAL PER TURN: 245,146,339
of course, deduct your 1% alliance dues too ...
