2013 was an interesting year for us.
A few big wars, staggering kill records! (Last record breaking kill not 24 hours ago.)
A lot of new NGM accounts (for better or worse).
A big rollback, lots of cleanup.
Stricter multi/scripter hunting and punishment, leading to a more fair experience for all.
Friendships broken, new ones reforged, politics abundant!
Old players returning, finding a new lease on fun, sometimes in alliances you would never have expected to find them.
Happy news: Players graduating, getting their degree or finding a job, getting married, having (more) children..
Sadly also players, friends and relatives who passed away, we remember the fallen.
2014 will be a good year.
The ninth, and beginning of the tenth year of (Star)GateWars, can you believe it?
Some currently vague but fun things in the pipeline:
- Achievements in Main
- Further improvements (your role and feedback in this are of great importance!)
- Four new Quantum Waves
- Hopefully no crashes? *fingers crossed*
- More wars?
- More drama?
- More fun!
All that is left for this post is to thank you all again, and to point out that as of December 25th 2013, 00:00 GameTime (0800 UTC) all accounts over 7 days old will find a Christmas present on the Black Market page. (You will be alerted to it on your Base page, and 'shown the way'.)
