i like the wars as well were we all laugh and joke and have a good time while destroying stuff. but problem is that most people are to proud to admit when they are beat. they resort to snipering, threats, and jumping on the bandwagon of "we hate DDE". so you see how some things can be taken a little personal inside my family... if you cant build any more then there is a way out, just say the words. until then we smash you in game, and i will personally try no not be negative towards anyone in this forum from here out. still waiting for R8 to get some payback and nice work Ganbazon for being the first to take out my main!

I'd like to second this post.

We do enjoy the wars and look at Couzen's UU thread DDE members having fun there with Couz. It's all for fun. We do love war-banter and we love wars.

As soon as this war started I got messages from TL saying this was now personal and you guys were very angry. What I can't understand is, we are in a war game and we give you war with lots of stats and fun. How can you possibly be angry.
Then you tell us you are so angry you are gonna sniper. I'm sorry but that's in no way in good spirit or any fun.
Oh well that's your prerogative TL.

We in DDE are a family. We have fun regardless of who's snipering who.

Sorry guys but if you can't see why people would be annoyed at being taken out without warning, just before Christmas, then moaned at 24/7 because they refuse to build much by people who had the luxury of taking them out with no Nox, who themselves sit with Nox on, mostly by a fairly small number of people set up to mass for relatively low losses due to huge MS's and accounts set up for war, not income, then i suggest you look in the mirror and ask what is wrong with you.

I'm not saying it's good to see people getting pissed off and reacting negatively, but it's retarded to spend 27 pages and counting bragging about a 1st strike shortly before Christmas and NOT expect the other side to think you are scum.

Newsflash: Yes it's a war game, but that doesn't mean people LIKE losing their shizz. If you wanted to fight people prepared for war then what you DON'T do is 1st strike them without warning a few days before a holiday period then gloat about it for 27 pages...

If you would turn farm a warring empire on the ascended server, and saw their warning PM's after you broke a treaty with them, Would you not advise your alliance to go on crit+nox? Not our fault they didn't. And actually some of them were on crit+nox.

DDE has been having problems with TL for a while now actually. So this was not unexpected. Not to mention C2 made it empire wide not us.

Of course, but i'm betting it was 1 or 2 people doing the farming, easily sorted out with vendetta's, but then again why risk an embarassing defeat via a few vendettas with people who want some action when you can 1st strike an entire alliance for lots of juicy stats?

An all out strike was the only option.

I don't get why people think we are mad - we are actually having a lot of fun. If you ask me more alliances should be added to the war for some more stats.

According to C2 he's having a lot of fun. So both sides are enjoying themselves. That is the purpose of this game.

Precisely. Most of the negativity comes from the outside.

In the first war with TL me and FM and Guerrero would build each other 100T defences even 3 times a day just to go at each other online. I have to say that was a lot more fun. But I'm positive R8 is gonna raid more and have a good onliner with me.

To be fair. There were warning PMs sent with no response. There was already tension from a previous issue. It's not like Bloody Sunday where it was just random ME whoring. There was a reason... and it was just DoC initially. The other branches of DDE waited until they made the first move on their accounts. I know Guerrero has a huge defense built and even gave a war setting to them, but hasn't been taken up on it. He's even used market turns to convert supers back to UU just to lower the defense to entice them to hit him.

Everyone hating on DDE, when it was initially only DoC vs TL. c2 was the one that made it against all of DDE. As I stated before, the other branches didn't make a move until they were hit first. They were willing to stay out of it and leave it DoC vs TL. I understand anger and rage, but I also understand thinking before you speak... or type, in this case.
