The next Arena has been scheduled for May 09, 2026 at 00:02 server time.
This will be an Arena of the Race War variety.
The current active-player spread between races looks fairly even at first glance, so this has the potential to be a good one.
I will try to be around for the Arena this weekend in case any bugs or strange behaviour appear. The recent Arena saw some changes to the engine (after some older issues were brought to my attention), and while those issues have been mostly worked through, race war is a different beast again.
Please report anything that looks wrong: missing opponents, attacks not going through, rank oddities, or anything else that feels off.
Good luck, everyone, and have fun.

Re: Tournament 363: Race War
As expected, the Race War has its own host of issues. Thank you to those who reported them.
- Automatic balancing of races has caused accounts to count as: signed up but not in the Arena, 'rejected' as excess members of one race but still in the Arena, and other states. I am investigating this process, because anyone who signed up should either receive notice that they didn't make it into the arena (and then be back in normal play), *or* be admitted to the Arena at start time.
- Auto-start got caught on a snag, there is a 12 hour delay between official start time of the race war and 'being forced in', which wasn't respected - partially. This is now disabled.
- In-Arena ranking did not work at the pace required (most importantly, it didn't trigger when a player chose to enter the Arena), causing accounts to be present inside the Arena but unable to attack.
I am resolving these issues.

Re: Tournament 363: Race War
- Ranking issue (mentioned above) did extend outside the Arena to players who signed up but got cut by the race balancer. Resolved as of TC.
- Unranked stats resolve on TC. If you are caught without ranked stats, blink twice and wait for TC.
- Attacking/interacting with players while inside the Arena was blocked. Resolved as of TC.
- Relations do not 'count' inside the Arena; previously, you could not attack players towards whom you had declared peace, which could constrict your options inside the Arena. This no longer applies.
- Prior to Race War: Balancer now communicates to players who signed up if they are cut from the roster at the initialisation of the Race War.
