Asgard in Quantum

Well I personaly feel that the one thing we have learned from quantum is that the asgard are the best race to play. So what i would like to see is the asgard taken out of next wave and a race with a different bonus added. now i do not care what the race is called i used ORI for this to make things simple on me.

Ori race bonus 12.5 covert bonus and a 10 income bonus. Spy levels cost full amount but they get free banking.

Why is it not going to happen?

The whole point of Quantum, the potential of which has never been fulfilled, is that it is a different reality each wave - so why can't there be a reality where the Asgard do not exist?

Personally I'd like to see a wave where you cannot trade resources at all - then we'd see who is the best strategist and who simply relies on trading.

Actually the idea of different races in different waves would be pretty cool. I'm guessing that it would take a lot of work for Forum though, since I doubt he would want to change race names but leave all the benefits and units the same. I'm sure it's not a ton of work to change the little details like units and bonus, but it's probably more than he wants to do every three months.

it would be fun, I think there would be even more people on quantum, would be a surprise at each new wave to see what race comes up and what bonuses they have *excitement*

I LIKE THIS IDEA.

Even though I am one of them, I hate how the asgard have taken control by doing nothing. Asgard are perfect traders and therefore I hate all who put the asgard race bonus to its full advantage. (I am against trading...)

So, I like a wave with no trading. And I definitely like a wave without the asgard.

I like the idea of the ori. But, why not make them have.... say...

A 25% MS bonus? Supposedly on friday they will be sending a great big ol' fleet through a giant supergate. Seems like a pretty good reason to give them a ms bonus. And what about the super satalite that destroyed prometheus?! Remember, they made that with the materials available in a world of the cold-war era.

Sounds like a good enough reason for me, and with all the hype about motherships, it would be the perfect crowd pleaser.

yea a mother ship bonus would be cool and might be eaiser to do you could set the wepons the same as the rep or gould and then just alter the stats on the motership instead of redoin three stats

"Hey, I'll get you 12k UU for 1 bil naq" A player with no defense could get it stolen, and could be raided easier, making it harder to get uu.

"Hey, I'll get you 150 turns for 800 mil naq" See above, minus the raiding part.

And the whole miners to income to up to miners cycle is pretty powerful, too allowing assgaurds to trade naq almost as well as goa'uld.

Being in an alliance of great friends but cheap traders, anything to do with the market or cheap trading at all pushes my buttons.

2nd: i dont think that +25% def protects my resources while trading....
3rd: you talkin like no other races have any defence... They have, and ascended races have the same bonuses in main...

And i think all races are good, just you have to find the correct stategy for the race u chose....

I do not care about Asguard in main I do not care about other races in main all i care about is Asgard in quantum and look at the top 100 every wave see a pattern? I just wanted to see if we could get something really different for next wave takeing the race that most people play droping it might shake quantum up a good deal.

Ok dude, then lower the goauld bonus too because 2of the top3 players in q are goauld... Maybe try to use the special ability of the race u picked...
