I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but doesn't Forum use a test server to check these updates?

The forces of SGC_Sam Fisher subdued those of JUAN.
The armies of JUAN were forced out of the realm of SGC_Sam Fisher in a none to glorious fashion! The defending forces were simply too much for them. It is sure that SGC_Sam Fisher will be considering a return visit to JUAN!
Aaaaaawwwwwww Yeeeeaaahhhhh!

Considering how long the games been unavailable, wouldn't it be better to put everyone on a ppt like after the raid function was introduced?
Basically it's not in people own control to look after their accounts at the moment as they can't access the game. So if admin has spent all this time fixing the bug and (I assume) neutralising the imbalance, it seems a little unfair to give people an advantage by online at the right time.
Even if it's only 6 or 12 hours it would give an opportunity for everyone to normalise their accounts after the outage.
Just a thought.....

Don't you remember the server getting overloaded and noone being let in the game. Crashing left right and centre. Mass farming and unfair advantages.
A restore from backup is more likely.
