The number of officers used to be unlimited, but were reduced for a number of reasons.

Extra technology upgrades? Maybe - but there needs to be a limit.

Although, it should be an everyone income upgrade, but with 3 upgrades available for goa'uld, just like reps, asgard, and tauri have for their equivelent stats.

er.. no way.. goaulds would be having way too much income if they had 3 upgrades to income. unless the upgrades were like maybe 1% each.. or ridiculously expensive or somehow otherwise inhibiting.

hell no.
first of all. miner effectiveness would be decreased from 80 to 50.
and then you'd have technologies to improve mining by 15% and then 20% (resulting 69) and goa'uld would have an additional 16% increase, which, along with their 25% bonus would equal to 100.
this way goa'ulds wouldn't be receiving a real bonus in comparison to now but it would make the difference in mining comparable to difference in asgard def or tauri att or rep covert.

tauri the same thing and replis the same thing too

exactly. I have half the def weapons as a fellow replicator friend, yet I have double his action (or something like that), and I'm asgard. The goa'uld especially deserve it since their special sucks so bad.

if you mean by all races gat the same income increases you mean percentage increases? goau'ld must then get 1 more income increase (just like replis, tauri and asgard)

If the miners were to cost less then make our {Replis} spies cost less. Other than that, so long as you don't lower my income you can raise the Gouald's income as much as you like. {Within reason...}
