can't make someone my commander

For some reason I can see the option to make anyone my commander except for the one person who i wan't to. someone have any ideas?

Yeah it's probably because u both ahve the same IP is the person u are trying to make your commander brother ?roomate? work collegue?

my sister has an account on the same network as i do, and she wanted to make me her commander, so she clicked on my recruitment link and from there she signed up and made her own account, it made her my officer. But when my dad signed up for SGW he did it himself, and he said that when he looked at my ingame stats he noticed that he didn't have to option to make me his commander.

I think the only way to make someone ur commander if ur on the same network is to have them click ur link and sign up that way, otherwise it probley won't let u...im just guessing from what i know, if anyone knows better feel free to speak up!
