Game suggestion: Kill spies

There should be a way to kill spies while sabbing or attacking. Dunno how. I was hoping that the readers of this thread could tell me how it should be accomplished...

How about spyes could be captured and torchered and to protect your info, you can send more spyes to kill them

Thats what I meant. Cuz sooner or later you will have players buying nothing but covert levels and spies. I know it sounds like they are spinning their wheels, but these epople will find a way and they will just terrorize newbs. Cuz anyone with exceptional power will crush them like a turd...

So there needs to be ways to kill their spies b4 they are a menace...

Another Suggestion: Give covert turns Via suporter Status.

What I wouldnt give to keep hittin this fool right now, but the turns are settin @ 0

id say it could be just another covert mission - assasination attempt - directed exactly against agents,

oh and Saturnine there was a time i think 2 months ago when everyone went crazy and were selling all weps for covert levels - it was before covert turns were introduced, it those times there was a possibility of cleaning someones armory in one night.... then all changed to be more balaced

There already is such a thing. It's called, now listen carefully,

"USING YOUR REALM ALERT WISELY"

It was added a little while back in response to actions of ... a certain group.

lol yeah, we all know who that group was :P


This has already been suggested (numerous times.) Usually the suggestion has to do with an entirely new type of attack or covert op (kind of like the raid attack for the short time it lived.) It would be nice to kill those invincible spies, but as is already pointed out, there are other ways to deal with people bothering you with covert...

Um, I have my Realm Alert of Critical all the time now, so don't suggest this, as I'm sure other people do, too. I don't think anyone here is that stupid.

There's also a tactical and strategic problem with that idea, anyway. For every turn that passes where you're on any Realm Alert level other than none, you lose Naquada. This could create short-term problems if you need Naquada fast and are out of attack turns.

For the long-run, same problem. That Naquada could have helped you buy a UP upgrade one turn sooner. In the long run, the troops lost could equal quite a bit (though one turn won't make too much difference, try five turns).

OK, I rambled on there a bit, but you get the idea.

well as every sugestion on this mater hase pasd unotice i give a new try on this....

spys shoud be able to be kild widowt actions from the target

this is because:

defence can be distroid....massattack and sabs
attack can be distroid.......sabs

the only rank that cant be modified is the covert action......and this is not good.........every rank shoud be able to be remoutly afected by anyone.......


so i sugest a diferent sab(wass sugested befor).....but a asacination........for spys or untrain units.........but mainly for spys.....

the problem then is that those with high covert will once again become virtually invincible - as assassination would not work against them, but they could kill everyone elses spies.

I'm sure we've had this conversation before.....

well someting like...u kill a lot more spys wen covert rank are realy close woud solve that.....


wath i sugested a long time ago wass someting like damege to weapons wen attacking......the closer the powers are the more damege u and the enemy takes......but i sugested that the damege to u stay the same but wen u sab someone that is 1 rank lower then u(in covert) then u woud sabd 5-10% of his armory.......that woud realy make the sabs more advanteged and it will make the ones close in ranks and powers in covert sab one anothere more....and not sab only way lower ranked(in covert) players.......

i admit that this new upgread helps a lot but i think that covert needs improvement...as it is the moust expensive to get...........covert levels are realy expensive.......and u only get the posability to sab low ranked players but not high ranked players......all ranks i spoke of are covert ranks.....not general ranks....

Perhaps there could be two types of spies? One for assasinations of spies, the other type used strictly for sabotage?

But to put a twist on it: Its one or the other. If you have one assasin, you can only train assasins and vice versa. This could limit the "Power of all might covert" nicely.

You are either the destroyer or a purger (not the exact words I'd use). Chose one but you will always have to look over your shoulder for the other because your polar opposite would bring a balance to the force.
Or imbalance your weapons or spy counts. Either or.

Maybe a special spy unit like the supersoldiers. Way more expensive, but as long as they're along on a sabotage mission, enemy spies will die. No matter if you succeed or fail, just like losing defense units while defending. Of course, there's also the 20% limit to prevent weaklings from killing your spies.
