Kills?

Hey anyone! PLEEZ tell me! i've heard of 'killing' off a profile, ie attacking till there's nothing left, BUT im not sure if it can still happen...

What do you mean? A forum profile or a game account?


I think you mean massing . You can still mass people, but you can only attack someone x times every y turns I believe. So generally, you get a group of people to mass.

dont worry about it. dont mess with strong ppl and u wont get destroyed.

massing only gets rid of covert, atk, def and ms strength. any tech capacity u hav will not dissapear (ie ms capacity, UP, covert levl, tech level etc)

Also, don't leave a lot of untrained units in the open... make sure to train them every now and then. I and many others have destroyed people's defense just because they left 50k+ UU in the open.

With the current system in place, you cannot kill miners. You can kill spies, destroy weapons, raid UU. But you cannot take away miners.
So no, you can never completly destroy an account, they will always have miners (unless they untrain them).
As mentioned, UP and tech updgrades are also immune.

Yeah, you can attack as many as you want, the only limit is on covert operations.

Well, Im really on about the game profiles, IE if you attack them till they are dead, and have to start anew. Like taking a frag in a multiplayer fps. so far I have only managed to hurt ppl and take naquadah. (sorry anyone who I have done this to, and remember its just a game! hee hee!) Ive been playing for a month or so and am rank #6005 or i was last time i checked. I dont want to seem like a noob, im not really, but I am in comparison to koskesh for example. I just want to boost my rank, and I heard this was a good way to do so.

The simple answer is no, you can't kill an account off completely. At least not yet.

Frankly if you were to impletment the complete destruction of accounts, this game would be destroyed.Every now and then someone comes up with the suggestion to implement kills, like they 'might' be doing for @)%@*&@ion.

I was once in favor of such new mechanics, but over time relised that with players like jaun, neb, and the TNC (No offense guys ); a massive percent of the SGW universe could be wiped out Farms, active accounts, simi-active accounts, you name it.
We would go from 30K+ to under a few K players within weeks.


At time I thought the 'killing' of accounts would help keep such mega-powers as the TNC from forming, but by now it's a little late. We still have plenty of ways to hurt an active account hower, killing spies, raiding unatended UU, stealing naq, massing defense and killing troops, weapons and M/S, or simply sabbing those weapons.away.

Forgive me, it's late on my end and my fingers started to ramble,
The short form of that is:
IMHO the reason we can't kill accounts is because it would mess up the game. Further. some people have spent over a year nursing their account, not just two minutes running towards the KoTH zone.
Magify several hundred times the frustration of being killed by someone with no-fog right before you reach the 'zone' and you can imagine what the feeling of losing all that work ( and in some cases $$$) would be.

I agree, we don't need to kill accounts off. I like all those UU farms out there... that just means I can spend my naq on Attack Turns and raid raid raid.
