lets say descension comes out.... well lets say for example.. a random name... "Nabbie"

Well Nabbie has loads of enemies and has ascended over 5 times so loads of advantages in main. well he is getting beaten up and so, not to lose his bonuses, he enters vacation mode forever... well dont u see??

nabbie now can stay in vacation mode in ascension forever and cant be descended and keeps the bonuses in main...

anyone else see a problem in this?

I have to say that vaca mode should not be allowed to be used like this. The last thing I would want would be to end up sent back down to the world of the non-ascended, but the stakes in Ascension just need to be as high as possible. Otherwise, what's the point of the server? The prize for ascending is great and so the consequences for losing that need to be just as great.

yes and anubis was still uber powerful on the non-ascended plain so it would stand to reason that whoever gets descended would not totally atleast loose their bonuses

maybe vacation time should be requested by someone and implemented by admin. also, you'd have to book the time, say, a week in advance. possibly even put a cap on how long you can stay on vacation mode, eg. 3 months (at most)

I voted to get rid of it. But machinegunzat has a point. Limit the vacation mode to something sensible like 1 month maybe. After all, not many people take vacations for longer than that.

Yeah, I wondered about this back in November.....but then it became obvious why this would never be a problem.....because descension isn't ever going to be implemented anyway.

WHile I was on ascension I saw none banned, but I suppose it would either remove the bonus from the main account (ban>De-ascension) or that both main and ascended would be banned..

I think Vacation Mode if it is to stay should be directly linked to main.
Vacation Mode in one = Vacation mode in both.

People Ostrasized in main should also be listed as such in ascension or just have their accounts deleted.

This is another general idea that has some merit to it. Although I would not want to see admin time put into dealing with every vacation request. But time limits for vacation both on ascended and main are reasonable.

Maybe in the case of extreme illness an exception could be made, and that would for sure have to tie up both accounts.
