Greetings. My name is Garnet...I've been here as Tauri for about 1 week...
Its been good building up my forces, but I'm needing to know some more information about Commanders, Alliances, and basics aswell.
By the way, is there any Tauri in Australia???

Hi everybody! I'm new to this forum and don't have a clue about how to play the game. Could anyone give me some suggestions as to what to do etc.
I've never seen so many cool sigs and avatars, and there are more posts here than I have ever seen on a Stargate board. Anyway, I'm happy to be here and love the site. Please pm me with your suggestions.

I would suggest reading through the Newbie/Faq forum. Most of what you need to get started is there. Start with the stickies in that forum(says sticky before subject)...

...now back to studying for exams :cry: ...

Hey all! im new to both this forum & the game,so nice to meet you all. :-D

got a question : do all units use the weapons (eg: revolver) & defence equipment (eg: flackjacket, or watever) or are those used only by attack/def troops?

yes they are, you need soldiers to use the weapons...

welcome, and stay clear of mathlord, he likes picking on noobs...nuto aint that nice either...

not unless you have a lot of them, the produce naq, but when starting off its better to steal it and use the money for unit producion, then you can star building rank with your new units

howdy, I've been playing for a few weeks now and just thought I'd check out the forums. My nick is obviously nastorm, this is the first web based MMO I've played and I like to think I'm doing well. I don't really have any questions to ask since I'm just piecing things together on my own and I've been looking over old posts. I guess one question I have is, a lot of games consider farming bad but I've been reading that the Tauri are best at it so what are the consequences of doing it too much, just making a lot of enemies? I also saw something about IRC so I'm off to check that out next!
