What I meant was that I have no attack/strike action on the mothership, I have only purchased Defence, then when I saw what happened with my rank I stopped buying shields. I never got to buy any strike so I don´t think that my MS can hurt anyone if not shields can hurt an attacking MS?

Correct, Shields do no damage.
Really all they do is protect your Motherships weapons and absorb fire.
So yes, you could easily 'self-mass' your M/S

idk if this has been said but eventually capacity becomes waaaayyyy more expensive. My expansion is 5x the actual weapon.

I tryed to attack you and another "big gun" tryed to attack me.. 0 shields destroyed in both attempts.. I don´t get this.. I have an invincible mothership!?

You may want to post in the suggestions forum to get that changed.
Protecting the investments of n00bs is one thing... but the ability to suck up billions worth of the enemy attack with nothing to pay for it...
