Ascending?

For newcomers to ask questions to the other users... this section will usually answer most questions... requesting resources (naq/UUs/ATs) is not to be done here...

Ascending?

I checked the FAQ stuff and even search the past few pages, and I may or may not have overlooked it so I will ask the question that could have been long ago answered, but forgotten in this slightly odd book...

What happens to my stats, units, techs, levels, Mothership?

What are these title I keep seeing, and what do they stand for?

I kindly request a bit of a lengthy response to my question, instead of a short one leaving me womdering...
Also if these questions have been asked before (though answers may be scattered and not in one other thread) then please send the link.

u need 1001 gr, you lose everything (main account resets), it shows wat exactly u need. the titles say how many times you hav ascended

btw u cant ask detailed ascention questions in here, ascention detalis are suposed to be secret though badly kept

btw everyone, why doesnt someone create thread giving the basic info on ascention (1kgr) and sticky it so ppl dont hav to make so many threads asking about ascention. or something of that sort that will make it unessary to keep asking the same question again.

Because Ascension is a Path to be discovered along the way, we don't want people to prepare for it.. Ascension is a subject that should be talked anywhere but in the Ascended Forum, so don't even think about making a sticky about it..

It has been said many times by many people : You'll know about ascension when you'll get there.

We had a sticky on ascension, and the mods choose to remove it.
That suggests that future stickies would meet the same fate. :(

Meh, what can I say? Forum doesn't leave you blind, he gives you a vast amount of information on the road leading to ascension, you just have to get there.

Alright its a hush hush secret, I understand that now, but I am keeping two questions up though that can be considered unrelated to what ascension is but just to simple questions about a few other technicalities

@Insanity: n00bs have a monthly cycle in which a certain topic becomes the fad...One month it may be ascension, the next they are wondering about untrained mercs... :?

There is a sticky that contains in its final post a lil note about how many points are needed to ascend. Perhaps we can point all the n00bs there next time :wink:
