What's the difference between away tea and NIDs?

The NIDs cost so much more, what's the difference? Is it worth that much more? Do they do more damage?

More damage and they die less often. You can't untrain them though, so once they are trained they are there till death.

and also away tea tastes much nicer

NID (Or 'Super Soldiers') do double damage and die half as often.
They are well worth their cost.
