What a lot of people are not realising is that everyone's covert will have been affected in the same way.

I believe that what the update has done (which has been done before) is to realign the amount by which attack/defence/covert contribute towards rankings.

Therefore, those accounts that were overelying on covert for their rank have dropped, strong atatck/defence accounts will have jumped, and those that were pretty well balanced will have stayed roughly where they were (like me).

As to why it was needed - it was needed to correct the over-effect that covert had on rank. And I can't believe that people are whining about 'losing serious covert' - everyone should be affected by the same degree!!

I completely agree. But for people with a small army it will be hard to gain back the rank they perhaps had. Anyways. IMO this update will probably be good in the long run.

About my previous post, I spoke too soon. I see it now, it's much easier to gain rank now then before.

Unfortunately, no matter how many times you say that, someone will always complain about what has happened to covert.

But, just for the sake of it - everyone has been affaceted the same way by the update - therefore your covert has, relatively, the same power as it did before.

i understand why the update was released and how it effects me, yet you did not have a choice for people who agree with it because it is needed

i have fallen almost 1000 ranks becuase of this. and my unit production isnt great. so now people like me will have to spend all their time into covert not paying attention. now people that were gona ascend could now be rank 1700 and now mad becuase they can get those last 100 glory and rep points. do you see my point. my friend was gonna be in ranks to start getting G&R points when thi happend ...noe he wont be able too becuase he dosent understand the update fully

i like it,i only gained liked 50 covert ranks and no orainary ranks but it does simplfy things

He doesn't need to spend alot of UU into spies. And now, people that are not that powerful can actually use covert for rank. Before, it was impossible.

Why does it suck?

I am sick of saying this now - but it does not actually affect your covert power, relative to anyone elses, at all!!

And if you have fallen so many ranks, then it is probably because your account was over-reliant on covert, instead of being more balanced.

It is only right that accounts that are more balanced, are rewarded, rather than an account that is over-reliant on one stat.

This is nothing new - and has been done before - and will more than likely be done again in the future once covert (because it is an exponential stat) becomes too powerful again.

Having said that - a number of other people have made similar statements to you - but then changed their mind, when they have sen things settle out and get back to normal - perhaps this might also happen to you.

I just wish that people could look beyond their own accounts and actually realise that this is for the overall good of the game.

1) you are being an idiot.
2) you are not correct on almost anything you've said to date.
3) rank is not affected by this -- a big or small covert score still only ranks you RELATIVE to others in covert. your covert rank is then averaged with the other ranks. (NOT scores...ranks... average of ranks...get it?)
