How do you send a private message?

How do you send a private message? I tried sending a couple but after I click submit they end up in my outbox and I can still edit them. It looks to me like they are hanging out in my outbox waiting to be sent. How do I get them to send (or are they sent already)?

try to open them up in ur outbox and look for a send, or resend button, they havn't been sent yet

Thanks for answering. I can't find a send button, though. All I see is "save message" and "delete message." What am I missing here?

the outbox is where the pm's you send are kept until the reciever opens them, then they're moved to the sent box.
