hey how ya doing!
I'm new I've already messed up. Oh well I got aleast a miner so I'll get Naq. I've just read some of the help forums.

Q: What advantages are there to joining an alliance, and when should I join.

protection, if you join an alliance, everyone in that alliance sticks up 4 each other, so if someone attacks you, then your alliance can help you rebuild and hit back. Also its a good way of getting to know people, and there are always people in alliances willing to send you units and stuff to help you.

Hi all

Hello!
I'm Meg, complete Noob. Can anyone rec me a good alliance or commander? I'm looking for something small, like with less than twenty people. There are hundreds of them, so it's a bit confusing. Also, could someone explain; farming, sabatoge and mercenaries?

Join 359 Company! Its small but powerful!
You can even make me your commander :lol:

Farming is attacking accounts that have no defence but lots of resources
Sabatoge, and Merc I'll leave to a more exp player ;-)

Thnx Tora. umm, I think I figured out the Mercs, or atleast I know how to buy them now. Why, aside from gaining Naq. would someone need a commander? What are a commander's responsibilities to his officers? Are you able to organize a larger strike force or something? How much control does a Commander have over his/her officers?
Also, if you join a Tauri or Asgard alliance does that mean that you can't attack any Tauri's and Asgards, even if they, themselves are not apart of the Alliance?
