Mothership Enhancements

What do you guys think of the addition to the MS's. I think it's pretty cool. They've put something that has spiced up my gaming experience a bit.

Although i'm not sure on the whole idea of it yet and how it works.... Maybe he just administered the update and hasn't put the details in the Game Updates section....

Anyways, what do you guys think of it?

From looking aruond it looks like you can build glider fleets. You can also send your mothership exploring for planets. It also says you can steal people's motherships using your fleets (and only your fleets) meaning...freaking sweet. Especially since you can only have 10 additional planets... I'm guess they add a nice bonus to some stat or other depending on what you do to them once you get them... My only question is do we lose our planets when we ascend?

I like the planets, the mothership addons are ok. They don't seem to add much for the naq though.

Planets can be found in the non-stargated galaxies, using your mothship. Or -they can be taken from others using your mothership fleets - ground troops can not assist.
Expect heavy damage to your ships, though, if the planets are defended. A successful assult will give you the planet, although it will assuredly destroy some of the structures and productivity on the planet.
Once acquired, your mothership uses specialized techniques to break the planet out of its current orbit, and -with a huge yet precise gravitational power- sends it on a trajectory that will ultimately put the planet in orbit within your own home galaxy so that you may take advantage of the resources, native populations skills or other benefits found.
Your galaxy has only enough space for 10 additional planets to be acquired without endangering the entire galaxy in a cosmic implosion.





LOL, my mothership is already exploring i bought dum gliders and sent it away lol, im gonna raise my mothership so i can get a beter planets, i bet some of the plents will giveu like double UP

Great job, the realm alert changes may/may not be a favorable change since I don't change mine all that much, but sure make me feel more concentious.

Dunno, it will be fun to find out though. The only planets I saw / aquired during testing added to strike and anti-covert. You can bank that the raiders won't like those types too well. Makes it harder to stay low ranked, and it's usually not a good idea to kill the spies of your favorite UU farms. Defense, covert, or production would be sweet though.

Well, I'd like to know if I send the mothership away for a day, does that means no mothership protection on my own turf? Logically, no.

it says u need 40 sigtings to get 1 planet, does that mean u need to send ur MS out 40 times? 40days for 1 planet...?

i don't like this new thingy to much, your SM flies avay, and it seas it even gets destroyed or something like that. And than you can lose your precious planet, wich you have been hunting for some time. And this fleets? Do they only attack planets, or do they help fith regular attack too???

here is the question that needs answering before people bother too much. if you have a couple planets under your belt and you ascend do you lose or keep them.
