I belive every race has its own seige weapon, System Lords have Raiders.

I assume the Satellite Array may be Asgard.

And Satelites are great as a Seige Weapon.

I belive Seige Weapons are ones that work from a distance, you didn't exactly roll a catapult into the courtyard.

Well I think it is time to go on a mass farming spree in about 8hours as everyone will have their Mother Ships out searching....

My MS will be damage free....

but a satellite orbits... so if it is deployed from a mothership.... how does taht work as an attack weapon...

I should have realized that different races would have different fleets... i apologize for my ignorance on that one... but still... satellites would be defensive... not offensive...

UGH, Satelites aimed down are very offensive!!! Probably the ultimate Offensive Weapon.

Hmm, The ORI designed one was used on their enemies.

The Daniel designed Array was used against the goverments of the world.

Real Life the Russians etc... did all they could to fobid the US from designing one.

Satelites that can take out anything on the ground would be a much better weapon then a stealth bomber which still has to fly over....

Imagine The GPS system all with some powerful Photon Weapon. Where any 3-5 of them could hit any ground or air target....

Or Raiders that can be shot down...

i say... use good old fashioned Masters of Orion technology.... pull out stellar converters and destroy the planets... hell taht might even be a cool idea... planet destroying weapons? unless of course intense damage on a planet as of now... destroys it... in which case... i am a fool and will shut up... now granted i am a fool regardless.... but i am an even bigger one if that is the case ^_^

How is it more complex then recalling Raiders?

I assume it would be automated anyway. Can't see Asgards in each fighter.

well if the planets are defended which is said some will be depends I guess on the user that yuour ship will recieve severe damage...
