sightings?

Planets can be found by exploring with your mothership, or battled for. Exploring takes 24 hours, in which time your mothership will not fight with you. They may or may not find a suitable planet...it takes about 40 or more sightings to get one planet at this point in time (read your mail when the ship returns). Fighting for one is instant, but relies solely on your 'fleets' to defeat the planets defences. As you can see, you cannot get a planet without a mothership

is a sighting a 24 hour period?

sigthing are possible within those 24hrs. its seems random if u actually see enuff to qualify for enuff sights or even if u get planet after a 24hr search period

Some people like me Sighted 11 :( others sighted 96 and brought one planet home.

what has to do to how many sightings you get, completly random, or your rank,...and where does it say how many sightings you have made?

it'll probably say in the report. u need about 40 or more sightings so u might not get enuff sightings in just a single 24hr period

ok..oen last question..does it give you a message no matter what? beacsue I came back from sighting..adn I got no message.

im preping mine for its maiden votage but it seems like u hav a bug, youre not alone, others didnt get a report

Your mothership crew is confident there are planets out there -they had 7 possible sightings- but simply could not find a suitable one this journey out.


others got 96, 50 whatever, why the heck did i get 9?

i got a 3 possible sighting report.... i win!

i think it may have something to do with your fleet size, but i might have a false memory of reading that somewhere....
