Not too sure if this is a bug, or if it's something to do with my PDA.

I've just been out and bought an T-Mobile MDA Vario PDA handset phone on contract. My brother has sorted out the wireless internet access and thus far there have been no problems accesing the net, along with the Gate Wars. However, when it comes to banking, I get logged out. I figure this could be something to do with the site security, which is fair enough, but is there anyway around it at all? I'd like to be able to use the phone to bank when ever I'm either at home, or away from home via GPRS.

Any ideas? Suggestions? Perhaps it could be something to do with cookies? Not too sure.

You just had to precise the model you bought heh?

Maybe it has to do with your settings? Sometimes problems are in your own ground when you think they are out of your control

I think you meant "had to say the precise model".. I didn't mean to be a funny arse about it.. I thought it might be helpful to know. Idk, I'm not a tech wizard

when does it log you out? after trying? or on page load.
what is the url displayed at the time & what just before?
what iss the error on main page after logout?
is this the only page this happens?

It just logs out, there is no error. It just says I'm not logged in. It happens with any link withing my realm. It logs in properly first, displays everything then on the second click to anywhere I'm back out on the home page with the URL http://www.stargatewar.com/index.php?strErr (and the 20%you20%are20$not logged in stuff.. I can't type it all out I'm going off what it says on the phone)

You shouldn't post your IP, I would advise editing it and keeping those kindof info between you and Forum..

Your IP is a very sensitive info, that can be used for alot of things that can harm you. That's why we can't just give you IPs of people on the forums and that also why people shouldn't post their own or other people's IP, it's like giving away your allies to the enemy, something that could cause your fall. Remember that and you'll stay 1 point safer than those who give out those info.

OK.. cheers. Just for info btw, logging into and banking on TAW there is no problem whatsoever.

Funny, mine works for Quantum but not TGW. Says it is either scripts are not enabled or that a proxy is being used.

Everything works fine on Quantum.

probably happens when you switch nodes. or maybe because they use nodes (which are proxy like when it comes down to it)

uh, hmm. stay in one place while using it. uhh. other than that, talk to forum to get special permissions for your account and proxies maybe?

I get logged out if I click on anything. Its recent too. This PDA worked on TGW a few weeks ago (I ascended on it on 5/1/06) then it stopped working. Soon after that it the ascended server has the same thing. The error is something along the lines of You are not logged in. Please enable cookies to only keep the player ID, not the password... bla-bla on the homepage. Its not my cookies, I have them enabled, I cleared them, I even tampered with the code to no avial

The only other SGW - PDA problem was when it did work, I was unable to install weapons on my MS. I fill in the field to install volleys and it increases the max weapons by one, I trued installing any number sheilds and it increased both by one.

Error number one, maybe an update between 5/1 and before the latest one? And number two has been like that ever since MS's were released
