Tech costs in Quantum

When I go to the technology page, it shows that my next upgrades are the last and most expensive upgrades, but i have no tech upgrades at all.

Does anyone else have this problem?

i think tech upgrades may be bugged. My goa'uld ones are very expensive, 40 or 50 million for the 1st defense or attack tech...I check some other players and they have bought tech advances already (other races) and if they were similar prices to what i am being charged it's just not possible, lol.

but 40mil for just ONE upgrade i thought it is supposed to only be like 40k for first upgrade or maybe 400k second is like 4 mil and third wsa 40mil

Yeah, it used to be, i had 40 mill or 50 mill for my 1st upgrades as a goa'uld and it was telling me i'd get a Pyramid for my 1st defense tech, which is BS as that's the 2nd tech for goa'uld, the Cult base i wasn't even being offered!

So i figured i was bugged and maybe a race change would fix it, now i'm asgard and still being offered hideously expensive upgrades...lol.

Really weird part is i have checked people who attacked me and my intell logs seem to indicate some players already have at least 1 upgrade! How on earth do people afford to buy a 40 or 50 MILLION upgrade when they have smaller army size than 1 do and i haven't even had 10 mill pass through my hands yet in total???

glad to see I'm not the only one who noticed this. I think it'll be a while before I can do any upgrades. By the time I can afford that, I'll be able to a get a mothership too at thge 45mil rate. Me thinks the update is not entirely correct.

How is this a bug? This is an upgrade - a purposeful change.
