what is a tok'ra?

oh i have seen the shows but in this game many people call each other tok'ra. so would that mean some people are go ulad that work with the tarui and asgard players or is there an acual race you can play as.

There is no actual race to play as the Tok'ra
The Tok'ra are a resistance to Ra. i.e against the Goa'uld.
Although they are also symbiotes, their relationship with their host is truly symbiotic. They do not emprison the host within his own body, rather they share the body with the host, where either personality may emerge.
Thousands of years ago the Goa'uld queen Ageria seperated from the Goa'uld movement and spawned the Tok'ra, sworn enemies of the Goa'uld.
If you would like more information or to see them in action here are some recommended episodes to watch:
202 - In the Line of Duty
211 and 212 - Tok'ra parts 1 and 2
610 - Cure
