Quantum Wars stop and/or limit transfer of Turns & Naq?

I have a great suggestion for Q-wars. To help make this a quicker game and more equal we should not allow transfers of turns or naq. Each player should be allowed only their 3 AT per turn. This would also keep game time play down to 10 minutes or so once or twice a day. More people could play and not feel like they had to play against the guy who cross traded to get turns to farm all day long. This would also eliminate the dead accounts only to be used for cross trading. It seems now there are way more "dead accounts" than active so maybe that could be cleaned up as well. Finally if the turns for each player were equal I think raiding should be brought back to q-war. It would allow the player to decide whether I should go for naq or UU.

I would expect that answer from you since you are a cross trader not really playing q-war. I am refering to the people actulally playing q-war not people trying to pad their main accounts. Q-war is supposed to be different than main. It's a 3 month sprint with an actually winner. It would be more enjoyable to play if I could sit down for 10 minutes once a day not all day for 3 months. But since you are a cross trader and not playing last wave I would see why you wouldn't want to change. You mentioned you trade naq at the end. Let the Q-war players get their own naq. This game is supposed to be different from main. Main transfers are ok since it is a long drawn out game with no clear cut winner and/or end. I am not saying do away with main transfers. Just like admin took away raiding in Q-war they can take away tranfers in Q-war. However if Admin takes aways tranfers in Q-war I think raiding should come back. That would give the players equal footing to decide whether to get naq or UU. This post is meant for admin. I know replijake and others have said they don't want to play q-war again because of this issue with the excessive turns flooding the q-war game, We can fix this easy by not leting q-war have turn and naq transfers. Lets try it out and play q-war that way next reset. I think it would be a lot of fun that way.

i'm not him but i do hab a critique for this idea. u want to kill cross-server trading involving the q server. most ppl do play and trade in/out of the server. its more like a 3 month marathon than a sprint since those who aim for rank instead of UP fail. u meant that post for admin but as a mod/player i see no point in stopping trade. wat would it add to the game? plus it would kill off alliance cooperation/wars...

Quantum Wars stopping and/or limiting turn and naq tranfers

Ok If Admin doesn't want to stop tranfer of turns & naq that's up to him. In the last reset UU transfer from player to player was stopped and raiding was stopped. Why not stop turns & naq. Some players get way too many (thousand of turns per day)and farm 24-7 and can boost their UP that way. Under the current rules that's ok. Nothing is wrong. That is why I refered to it as a sprint. It shouldn't be. If a player could log in 10 mins a day use thier turns, bank and be done (which is how I mostly play main) myself and many others would probably play Q-war more often. In my alliance we almost all cross-server traded. We had too to keep up with the other alliances that cross-server traded. I believe turns and naq really should not be transfered. Another option for Admin. would be to find the middle ground and set limits on turn and naq transfers per week. Just like there are limits on supporter bonuses and market trades per week. I really think Admin should take a look into this.

if u want to just sit back and play only 10 minutes a day then:

1. get a hugely powerful covert/defense

OR

2. become an asgard and sit behind ur hologram

this is an MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role play GAME). a game by definition is to participate not to be a spectator on the sidelines...

This is about stopping and/or limiting turns and naq tranfers just in Q-war along the same lines as UU are not allowed to be transfered and raiding is not allowed in Q-war. I just think this cross server trading is out of control and messes up the game dynamics in Q-war. Just ask Fred Rabbit or Replijake or about anybody else that has posted a comment similar to mine. They will surely give you about the same answer as me. All I ask is for Admin to look into this.

thats how many ill earn this wave, wondering what ppl would pay for all of them. so what would you?
if i like a bid ill accept it.

SEE THIS IS WHAT'S IN THE CROSS-SERVER AREA AND HE POSTS A REPLY TO MY POST SAYING HE USES MOST OF HIS TURNS. YEA RIGHT? THIS IS A PRIME EXAMPLE OF WHY TURNS AND NAQ TRANSFER SHOULD BE STOPPED OR LIMITED. I SHOULD KNOW I FINISHED IN THE TOP 20 LAST WAVE 5 AND HAD A YEARS SUPPLY OF TURNS JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE AT THE TOP.

if you still had a years supply of turns left with no cross server trading its no wonder u didn't finish higher.. The last week alone i would have gone through over 20k turns easily. I didn't do all that much cross server trading (i did do a little) but a lot was also within the server since ppl were willing to sell their turns for much less than what i could get to farm with them. Your idea would stop all that as well and make q a very boring, slow 3 months

Well sure I am sure you like it but the reality is that too many turns have flooded q-war. The game might as well have unlimited turns since that is what I had and I was only limited by how much time I could spend with the game. As far as having unlimited turns, I know that was the case for everyone in my alliance as well as most other top players I know. I am just saying to bring the game back in balance there need to be a limit to turns and naq transfered. That is all. I probably will retire from q-war and stick to main due to these reasons unless that part of the game is resolved. That is one reason there are so many "dead accounts" on q-war and those for the sole purpose of cross-trading, not to play the game. Whatever the Admin decides is cool with me I am just voicing my opinion and the opinion of some of my q-war friends. Good luck to you in future waves.

I appreciate all the feedback from the other players but this is in the forum for the Admim for game suggestions not in the general forum. The feedbacks from other players just show how much they rely on cross-trading for turns and naq for q-wars. I am sure most that see this post and post something will be in objection since they like to trade their turns they are not using in for main resources. But the overuse of this has thrown the game dynamics way off. If not to stop this then I am just asking for limits to this. Q-war does not exist only to trade for main resources. It is it's own game and deserves the respect it should get. The massive infulx of naq and turns from non-players really over-impacts the game. It is way out of control. Q-war need to be brought back under control and needs to have the respect it should deserve. Q-war is a game in it's own right and does not exist only to satisfy cross-traders. Limits on trades would bring back the balance and make it a lot more interesting and test the players abilities to use their given resources effectively.

Well, I didn't do a single cross-server trading while I played in Q, I wasn't planning to be in rank either, however. I like the naquadah/turns transfer because if I do end up with too much turns, I can give it to others who may need it, and the same with naquadah. I did do a lot of naquadah transfer in the last half hour of last wave because I saved up 8 billion naquadah in case I got massed, but turns out I was left alone so I sent away 7 billion to my commander and I went to spend 1 billion naquadah and 2500 ATs on attacking.

It was probably the only highlight of the game (Q), being able to transfer commodities with other players because I feel rather suffocated and isolated with market SS in main (Don't have a CC/Paypal), having so many other players willing to help me with UU and I can't pay them back until much, much later. In Q, transfers and the ability to reach out to other players feels like a breath of fresh air.

i agree since it would add a point to 3 month resets - otherwise it gives people who dont play Q pretty much free main resources for the turns - and for those that are already strong in main couple of thousand turns would cost negligible in terms of main resources while for other q turns will be untouchable - so it kinda defeats the purpose of resets. but maybe market turns should be increased to 5 or so so people can buy more attack turns but with Q resources
