Spying bug

When I try to spy someone if I'm able to a blank white page will load and that's it, however it will give me the fail screen as normal. I've tired using a different computer, I've tried a different browser, I've tried clearing cookies, and cache and restarting. Nothing seems to work. If this has already been posted I apoligize but I didn't see it in another thread.


Yeah I'm stupid, I'm sorry moderators, you can delete this thread. However I will say that the way it handles a person being out of covert capacity is quite horrible. Couldn't you code in a check before it even sends the spies off to make sure they have atleast 1 covert capacity seems like it wouldn't be that hard to do.

nope that was happening to me yesterday too!! but only for a period of about 20 minutes..........then all was fine again!!

i have it too, and it's definately caused by having 0 covert capacity... i think a little "error" screen saying you're out of covert capacity would be good here.

Yup this problem is to do with having 0 cap as it has just happend to me.

Maybe the "you haven't got any covert capacity" isn't linked correctly.

0.. not true, sicne i have 35 and it just happened 2 me, was fine 30mins ago now its happening alot

it happened to me on a player that wasn't on ppt and whose covert power was wayyyyyyyyy lower than mine (or most Noobs), I was asked to spy the account by another player who was experiencing the same problem.

There is a second problem. I was raiding and bought attack turns (as you do in this situation). Before I bought the turns (5025 turns) I had 182 turns, after buying the attack turns my total shot up to 5850 attack turns.
At this point I thought "oh someone sent me extra turns" not so.
When I got down to about 600 or 700 attack turns suddenly *pooff* I was left with 9 attack turns.
Now I'm fast at raiding but 591 - 691 attack turns in 2 seconds used, I'm not that good.

Anyone have the same problem with attack turns ?
Is the server going to have a nervous breakdown?

welll i can go through all 50 spies/sabb attempts with no problems, untill i get to 0 then when i try theres a blank page. this happens every time.

I havent had any problems with it, until my covert capacity hits 0, then whenever I try to spy someone I just get a blank white screen. So as Slicky said, maybe the "You do not have enough Covert Capacity to spy" page isnt linked correctly.

It wouldn't be this, as you can actually spy a player if he/she is on PPT. Strange I know, but it works.

having the same problem here, blank page when I try to spy, yet I have 23 covert turns left...

i want to report a bug that happen like this ..
i wanted to sab somebody , checked my covert turns .. i had 25
sabbed him 5 times , then i got a white screen, checked covert turns again
.. i had -1

things like that occasionally happen...feel lucki to get an extra covert turn

also a similar negative bug happened on the day with ppt for everbody ended
i had spoted a target with 1 bil naq , hit it .. got 0 naq
checked it again it had -250mil naq.

that is the production of 2 or more ppl hitting him at the exact same moment. the negative will fix itself at the next turn mark

White screens when spying happen when you are either A) out of covert turns, or B) the target is maxed out on covert.

Maxed out on covert? You mean there has been already 15x spied on them? Then you should get that message... not a blank.
