I suggest taking that damn hologram technology off, or at least make it so you do NOT loose men or damage your weapons when attacking a thing which is NOT there.
It is physicly IMPOSSIBLE to damage weapons when shhoting at LIGHT, and TOTALY impossible to LOOSE MEN.
I was very annoyed when i wasted 45 attack turns (i think) on a HOLOGRAM, which came to a damage repairment of almost 2 mil, with a loss of 56 men.
This is NOT fair, as these attacks were continues on 3 other people. I was very annoyed.
Feel free to critisise me people or aggree with me.

meh, the hologram is just fine. It is slightly annoying that you have to pay the repairs and such, but, well, other than that hologram, most asgard cant do any other kind of damage to you :p
So chill out. The hologram should stay
(note i've lost around 450 attack turns to holograms, and have had multiple 3 in a row holos... plus repairs and such... you dont see me complaining :p)

lol, if anyone has the right to complain, its the goauld...
and truthfully, the replicators bonus isnt up to the level of the asgards, mainly because it rarely ever happens like with the Tauris bonus, but still, overall, the races are more balanced than they were before... just the asgard stick out a bit more than usual...

I am also frustrated when running into a hologram causes troop deaths and full damage to the guns. It would be nice if the Asgard had to repair their hologram generators after they are used to prevent the multiple effect on a single target. Even if it is very cheap to repair. 15 wasted turns, a repair bill, and enemy casualties are by far the best unique ability. I feel bad for the Gou'ald's bonus. Tauri bonus is OK. Troop losses were a big issue for me last round in Quantum as a Tauri. Not a problem in main. I haven't heard what the replicator bonus does.

repair is for spend ammo and energy on the hologram. as for me: picture this, a big hole in th eground carved out by an oniell class ship's main guns. several hundred feet deep. the asgard put a holographic city on top of it. so your guys run into the city firing madly and fall to their deaths. similarly put a gate in space with stationskeeping thrusters. put a holographic planet under it. the malp or like goes through and sees a planet with enemies, your assault team rushes through the gate, and drifts off into space. just be glad you're not losing their weapons too.

i liked the idea with the whole big whole in the ground then holo city, im an asgard by the way, but, bout the holo planet???? WAIT i just got an idea, they make the stargate float and sensors can pick up a signal of a malp/anything like dat coming threw and they activate a sheild or sumtin to keep it up, then when the enemy comes threw, the sheild goes off and they r stuck in the middle of space with no oxygen
