umm what i think u mean is when we bump our posts, ie if i have a recruitment post and it has slipped down to the bottom of the forum, then i make a pointless post to bump it back to the top

I think continuos bumping should be banned though. Like bumping every 5 minutes, it annoys me. Even just bumping annoys me but if it's what people need for their posts to go to the top again I guess it's ok, well if they can't think up something else to say like "I'm still recruiting" rather than bump.

*BUMP*ing is a matter of forum etiquette....

without bumping our recruitment posts would become lost in the deluge of those who no longer recruit. However, if you bump your recruit topic three or four times a day you will become guilty of spamming and double posting. It is a fine line, if you cross it you will know because one or more of the Moderation team will point out your fault, thus giving you the chance to patch up on forum manners. We won't punish you for making a mistake but we will punish you for ignoring a request from one of us to mend your ways
