So based on what's said it may not be a bug, so much as an abuse, the first question is were they on defcon, and does that attk limit apply if they are not on defcon?
Also is it a multi or some one who deleted old acct and had friends fund him doing this?
If they knowly funded it with the knowledge that he was geting around the 100attk limit then they should be annocend. But if he is not multi and if the game mod/forum says that he was just barely within what goes as legal then the funder/funders (i hate to say it) shouldn't be revealed by them just by others using there contacts cause naq flowed from somewhere.
To the updates, they were definatly the way to go and rather well implimented.
The important thing to note is no matter what we say Forum, or his well informed worker bees will tell us how it's going to be. They will pass judgement on wether it was within rules.
Expect rules to prevent in future though, as to omega KILL KILL KILL find them the way you always do and take them out at there own game, you know you wnat new farms!!!

well in no way can it be 'legal' as it was obviously a funded second account (or multi for a better word) more than likely by a handful of bitter players that had some pay back to give to Omega as it seems they wer the only ones to get hit...
they created that said account and pumped huge amounts of naq into it to provide the end result...massing without losses and bypassing the 100 attack limit....
so rules broken round all round me thinks....
shame this wasnt avoided earlier specially with the cheater post about this guy a good two days before but at least planets have been brought more into balance now

the 100 attack limit is on no realm alert, it decreases when realm alert is but on and the 100 attacks must break into the defence of the player so until there defence is below the attack then they can be attacked as many times as they want, the only exception to this i know is if both players have declared war on each other then there is no limit
and as for caspian his id is 51315 so the account was made quite a while back so it hasnt been created for the sole purpose of taking out omega so it has definatly been funded by another player but the account looks like there friend who has quit and came back to do the massing or it could possible just be an old multi account
the only possible cheating that could have happened is caspian being a multi account but i dont think a bug has been used
