Vacation change...WTH?

why not instead of the 5 days attack limit, make it so that you cant go on vacation mode if you have been on PPT or been on vacation mode in the last 24 hours. i dont think there really needs to be a limit on attacking at all,

2 days = ppt. needs to be 5 days to prevent attacking, ppt, vacation, attack, ppt vacation. etc etc.

there still needs to be a way for ppl who need a vacation mode to get it. like if their RL circumstance requires them to be gone the next day. RL is unpredicatable so they need a way to go on vacation mode.

Note: i do not advocate or agree with the massing/sabbing limits currently in place. the ideal would be full wars like the old days ^_^

i think it should b 2 days AFTER the vac mode, because yes someone could mass someone and still go on vac mode, but once then get off ther open to attacks without retaliation for 2 days

my life is very unpredictable and i go on alot of trips within a day of finding out. im sure im not the only one. i think the way i proposed would b a compromise.

This would not prevent the loophole people were using of attacking people and using PPTs and vacation to avoid getting hit. With your suggestion the person makes an attack, goes on vacation, comes off and goes on PPT for two days.

ya i didnt think of that. still- what about emergencies. i mean ppl have them and atleast half of the players are either naq farmers or raiders. do they just have to nvr go on vac mode?

Seriously I think maybe 1 day before and like 1-2days after, it's fair, considering percentile of players who goes for real in vac.
Like an update used for like 2 people ingame using some dark strategies, the majority should be the priority.
If we consider each dark strategies, we would have more limits than possibilites!!
Don't forget it's like 3% MAXI who use the vac thing for masses.
So, I expect the next update for actions of 0.25% of players

So far only certain "Players" benefit on a regular basis. They have tons of naq (good for you BTW) to buy what they want. The game has gone to pot no wonder there's so much **Filtered** on the forums.

So Omega got a bloody nose for a change, they have being doing it to others for ages and now this VAC thing comes along because they complained.

I used to love the game but not any more - how can you like something that's so 1 sided it's not worth playing.

I say reset the whole damn thing, leave the basics in place, add some items that give small/new players a chance instead of favouring "The Big Boys" whose tallent for diplomacy is reduced to "massing who ever disagrees or critisises them."

It's time a proper change was put inplace and not these half measures we have seen continuously screwing up everything.

If you want to put a proper face on the game then make it like the stargate series. Humans (the underdogs) using tallents and skills to outwit their foes instead of having to run arround like bloody americans (gou'alds) screaming "I've got the strenght, therefore I am right so now I will destroy you" Real bully attitude.

now, i dont classify myself as a powerful player but if i want to get to be one i think i (and other players) deserve a fair go at it in near the same circumstances as current top players.. is that too much of a request?

But what about people who go on a vacation but still want to check in with their account? For example, I went on vacation about 4 weeks ago to Chicago. I wasn't sure when I would have an internet so I simply logged in when I could, banked naq, occasionally raided if I needed, then went back on vac incase I didn't have internet the next night (couldn't log in for 2 but I didn't care) All this update does is force people to make a choice between real life and locking themselves infront of a computer with SGW. What if someone's grandparents (or parents) had to go to the hospital suddenly without warning? Hospitals don't allow communications devices like all over wireless internet (sprint I think) so what happens then? Granted it is now only two days, but if that person can't get to an internet within those two days or even longer, then they would be screwed beyond all belief.

my suggestion is the same one i always have. emergency vac mode. puts the account in vac mode right away, has a min limit of 4 days, and an immediate 5 day cooldown period afterwards in which they cannot attack with standard attacks. (but still with conquor planet for obvious reasons)
