Is is illegal to have an account just for naq producing?

I believe that it may not be a multi account but it is most certainly used with the sole purpose of adding naq to all his officers

http://www.stargatewars.com/stats.php?id=37797

His stats are all near ZERO except for UP wich is around 27K and that explains the 7Mil+ Miners and enough naq production to go around his officers.

If one reads the rules straight, this isn't illegal but isn't it illegal for someone to create an accound with the sole purpose of feeding others?

Nope. The main purpose of my quantum account is to give my commander unit production. I don't really care that much about quantum, and I thought I'd help him out :P.

If he is a multi however, it is illegal. If he's just a guy giving his officers naq, it's not.

Well if this is the ONLY account the owner has... then i have no problem with it. But if it he has one to play with and one for gathering just naq, then this is an obvious multi and should be massed and removed... Everyone who would say its not, has a multi himself. Play fair and play nice!

i strongly disagree here. these accounts do only exist to bypass existing rules mostly !rising stats and save units to build up soemthing big some day is a valid tactic but if an account soley exist to transfer ressources to an other players or to give em more UP - or be it to only to earn real cash - it should be deleted. this is not the purpose of the game ("..in constant battle for the control of the cosmos..")and allowing them does only encourage ppl to have multiple accounts..

Thanks for all replies.

I gotta agree with Ston, this is not how the game should be played, those 5 or 6 officers are making Billions using one account, created by someone who does not enjoy or even play the game but instead uses his account to provide bigger growth for the others.

And it may be a multi account from some of the officers, all he has to do is login only at a certain place where nobody plays stargatewars like at a girlfriend home or at a friends computer.

Anyway, being multi or not I think things like these unbalance the game a bit and are unfair for those who grow alone or with the help of a CO who obviously does not live to make his officers grow.

Um I believe that he is active I have been tracking that account for a month or more and he improves his stats (spy lvls) and his UP is being used because I have tracked that too, and for refrence his size has increase 500k in a week so that shows some activety and I have a friend to whom he replied within 10 minutes to his pm so he's on. SO based on my personal exprience with him I would ask that this be removed and put on hold because I don't think he's a cheater, nor only helping officers.

And if you go after a CO that produces naq for officers you ahve to get rid of a few 1000 inactives that CO's have kept on because of UP. I have about 6 that I farm for 1000's a week and never way boo and a few are increasing only UP so figure that out. (i haven't followed those in q long enough to post them here.)

This thread is strictly informative because I wondered if it was legal or not.

Yes he increases his Spy and Anti-Covert Level... 25 right now... but ZERO operatives... Guess he just has to spend the NAQ somewhere heh? (wonder why not UP only)

The fact that he replied after 10 minutes proves that it is either a multi that luckily was on when PM'd or that it is someone who cares not for the game but only to help friends.

Inactive accounts are diferent from what's going on here it's like apples & oranges.

But anyway, this was merely for information... and to see what people thought about these kind of tactics

Just because he doesn't carry any stats doesn't mean at all he is a multi perhaps he is like some people that don't have any because if someone attacks him he knows that he can mass them. I know SGC replicator was doing this for quite some time don't know if he still is.

The answer is actually quite simple if you look at it as a battle strategy.

Let's say you play for a bit and get together a nice group of officers and troops of your own.
You have built up and seen the way the game is played so you know that you are going to need higher spy levels, high unit production and enough naq income to be able to build to whatever standard you deem neccesary.

So, you can work on building a huge defense, which can be massed for UU or naq if the price is right for the masser, or you can go with trained troops and no stats at all for a while to eliminate repair costs and never have troop losses when you are attacked.

By doing this either way you are going to be attacked by someone off and on regardless of which you decide on.
So, you opt for the second choice for a while.
Think of the size of the players bank and how much they can save up at once and then buy everything they need for one goal all at once.

I know this because I have used that tactic before when the game was still young, lol.

By the time he is ready to train spies and build a defense he will be able to do so and get immediate power in the game.
You must realize that not everyone plays the way everyone else does.
Alot of people just work on building while others try to develope a strategy as to how they are going to build their accounts and do it within a timeframe that will allow them to grab alot of power fast without anyone seeing it coming.

But, then again, what do I know?

Yeah... who are you to come here and make things cristal clear? We had a nice problem here and you had to come and solve things... If only you had the stats to prove you know what you're talking about :-D

Anyway, thanks for clearing things up because I had never thought about the fact that he can quicly become very powerfull and overcome any (maybe some is a better word) foes he has (guess it's time to declare peace on the guy :smt083 )
