Vacation change...WTH?

2 days is better than 5 for planning, but yeah, emergency provision would be good...but make the emergency one minimum of a week, and can't attack for 2 days after so it will tend not to be abused.

although apparently you can go on vac mode while on ppt... seen a couple of people that have done that. and according to the new rule it seems like you shouldn't be able to do that... seems like you could still hide after a hit like that... *shrug*

As i read the update of the vacation mode... it says it is to prevent hit and hide tactics...
But it seems like its possible to hit, go on ppt, than hide on vacation since, u still can go on ppt after hit someone, and 2days after going on ppt u can hit vacation, wait a few days, com off of vac and go on ppt.... that looks like it didnt solve anything as it is now....

What im speaking of is to look at Caspian... he was on ppt for days, and now he is on vacation and when he come off next week he can go on ppt again and again...

My suggestion to solve this is to prevent vacation for 2days AFTER the PPT ENDS not after it started

OR

Prevent going on PPT 1or2 days after one attacsk another...

I think the vacation update isnt help anything with its current state.

So apparently this enhancement doesn't actually work or there is a bug that players know and are abusing. I checked my attack log and see that kenny g and Xerxes_II both attacked me last night, and yet i check there link and Xerxes_II is on PPT and kenny_g is on vacation mod and PPT.

possibly make it so you cant have attked or been on ppt in the last 24-48 hours this way there is that time to retaliate and doesn't make you stop playing for a minium of a week

I would just like to say this seems to have happened or is being implemented at 48 hrs! Don't know if it was my saying htis that got it int here but ha see what happens when there is a useful suggestion.
And has anyone gone on vac mode? does it require the 2 day no hide or attk yet?

simple answer raise have an emergency vac mode for only 2 days of every week. and have VACATION MODE that's for a week min.

r u sure 2 days/every week is ok? it could be abused with hit and run OR end up being too little...say if someone loses someone and they can't be on for a week or longer

If it is a true emergancy the game won't matter as much to you. There area lot of people here who would help you get what you lost during that time and 2 days is only enough to see you farmed a little for naq, as it is you can go on crit and prevent 2/3 of that farming, and go on vac later, or you if you think anything will go wrong you save a ppt for that week.

With the depest respect and admiration for those in charge of the running of this game... This update is an absolute JOKE!

I returned home today from work to find my internet and television had died...i cannot have this fixed for at least 2 days, i did not know this was going to occur, nor did i want it to occur.

I have to now basically sit back and stare at walls knowing my account is being raped because i cant go onto vacation mode. Why? because someone thought it would be interesting to implement a retarded rule which penalises anyone who happens to befall some form of emergency.

I do understand the reasons why, but its wrong! My paid internet access at work is just about to come to an end so i have to sign off, Appologies for my rant but this is exactly why this rule change is wrong.

Not to be rude but the no attacking for 2 days before vacation mode is the most stupid, redundent, ignorent, perfect, preposterious update there is.

2 days is a problem what about short notice things as a business owner you never know when a business event is going to come up or what about emergencies example -- oh lets see my grandpa is going to have a heart atack in 3 days so i can atack people tomarrow but not for the next to days. -- end example you cannot predict these things 2 or 3 or even 5 or more days before in some cases

so go right ahead and mass me not like it would do anything

also altho i have never atacked and hid there is nothing wrong with that it is called --guerilla tactics-- and it is not a problem it is a stratigy and if they need retaliation go take it out on some dead account.

this update is perfect as i said earlyer because it favors one group over another in this case the powerful are being favored over the most of us normal people.

I have a rather fundamental suggestion that may indeed have everyone up in arms, but, if implemented would work amazingly well: How about the admins doing their jobs? Ok, so we have people who hit and run, but by admins own admission, their logs record everything. So how about introducing a conflict mediation where a person can bring forward evidence of this to the admin and have the appropriate person a) make reparations to the aggrieved party and b) be sanctioned. THAT would be an ideal solution, because then we wouldn't have all this crapola around vacation mode.

Unless this is all a ploy on the creators part to garner more money out of people who are inclined to buy ppt? Which would be highly unethical and dare I say...on the grey side of the law? 0_o

and i take insult with your post. how many people do you think it would take to 'mediate' every complaint with 50,000 accounts? although we could move to a subscription service where you cant play for free...then everyone gets a personal mediator...?
