Does changing a race after ascending realy deascend u?

I've hear from some1 that after you ascend in System Lord,Ancient, etc. and if u want to change ur race to other, advanced race this deascend u, it's this true?any1 has experiances with this?and also all races bring u the same income (personal income with same level of ascending and no commander's income) and attack and defence and covert right?cause some1 said that no matter what race do u choose (even INDU and AJNA) your stats have 5% to each no matter even if u are Ancient or System Lord or Tollan or NanoTImaster, is this true or false, any1 knows?
I know I'm asking dumb questions just don't have experiances jet with this...

You don't get descended by switching advanced race - you can do this 'free of charge.' Only through switching to a less advanced race (one of the four originals) will you incur any penalties.

Yes you get equal bonuses across the board in multiples of 5 up to your 6th ascension (to a total of 30% bonus for each stat). After your 6th ascension the bonuses only go up by 1%.

Isnt it against rules to tell bout ascension? Or have I misunderstood?

its against the rules to talk about the advanced stuff in ascention that your meant to find out when you ascend

all the basic stuff everyone knows

then again most people know most of the things about it
