it's the recalculation of stats, uu's, rankings, income, g&r and ppt for 50k+ players that takes a while.
I don't think you can do much about it. or buy several servers to handle the load. but would you want to pay for that?

might I suggest you consider it may be your own ISP - since I do not have any such problems.

i get the same thing to be fair, and its i've tried dozens of computers lol

but i was in the knowledge that everyone had the same problem so i was fine :S

i only feel some lag during turn changes but mostly its only for like 10 sec if im raiding at that time i just go watch the forum for 1min and continue after that

if we remove the 40k accounts under the size of 10k , the game will work
much faster.

You can't just remove forty thousand accounts. Inactive or not. It's been discussed before in another thread (you're also about to drag this off topic)

As do I. It freezes randomly, but most often at the start of the turn. And it isn't my connection..most of the time alteast..because I have several other windows running at the same time and they load just fine.

It freezes for me after turn change, sometimes for 3mins or only a few secs.

xanthius it might be only your bad connection, I don't have any problems like this, only it freezes sometimes for about 10-15 sec when next turn changes from 1 to 30
