Semper - please refrain from using words such as '**Filtered**' in the manner that I have seen you do in two different threads in the past 5 minutes!

As for G&R - it is something that is earned - not given away and there will not be an option to give anybody Glory and Reputation - by definition you should see that it should not be possible.

The original idea does have some merit in that you are not entirely telling someone how to ascend - but you are giving them the ability to ascend when the reach the certain stat criteria.

Perhaps to make it more acceptable, some or all of teh following could be added:

1. Maybe it should be made so that if someone bestows this gift on you, you know that you will be able to ascend once you have reached the requisite stats - but you cannot see the stats page (or the ascension symbol) until you actually reach those stats.

2. It costs more in resources to ascend this way.

3. Only Living Gods can give the 'ascension gift' to someone.

4. You can only give this gift once per account - so you would have to choose wisely.

I'm not saying I'm totally for this idea - but these are some suggestions that could perhaps make it more palatable.

yay! thats a goodun wolf!...but living gods..may make it a bit to hard..cos there arnt a ton of them yet..but ultimately i feel (even though i am not ascended) that sumthing shud be done..as inevitably to many people will of ascended..

the fact that there isn't a lot of them is the reason I suggested it as a restriction.

which is why the other restriction of only ever being allowed to use it once per account is also suggsted.
