Im not going to say much about this just the fact that sure it be cool but i wouldnt want it in this game. Also not trying to make fun of anyone or anything but alot of ppl i saw who said yes to this topic are"new* players. When you get 6months or more game time then you can see what this idea will cost yah lol. But other then that DarkAnubis i like the idea but still wouldnt want it in the game.

I havn't read the entire topic so excuse me if someone else already mentioned this idea. Why not add a new section on the technology page for fleet upgrades? Not the sort for the mothership but instead something similar to spy levels. Research weapons, shields, sensors to add to your ships strength in terms of attack, defense, and even covert. One idea is that there could even be covert ships, like those cloaked cargo vessels favored by the tok'ra. It would then be necessary to outfit your ships with advanced sensors to prevent these ships from penetrating the fleet's defensive screen.

yes excellent idea! each race can have 2 dorta ships...
hataks, alkesh
old and new asgard motherships..(or the funny lookin ones, the patrol vessels)
spider replicator ship and replicatpr controlled hatak or the pointy one.
x303 and deadalus...or..tauri controlled whatever..
sounds sexual! just have each one with a set stat, and each one cost naq and uu to build, each also has its own armour value and hp, wen armour beatenm hp lost and wen all hp gone it destroyed. they all adds to your mothership value in a battle and this addition would mean that your mothership cannot be attacked until all smaller ships are destroyed. (this is a simple way to have them in the game..u cud have fleet battles...)

Well i gave my support for good idea , but what i think it woulb be better i will set my oppion
1) from me it would be maximum 4 à 5 fleets
2) how more fleets u send to attack hew more turns u need like 5+ fleet if u send so if u attack with all ur fleets it will take u 20 turns + 15 = 35 turns to send fleets
3) defending part i think like ( the realm alert) u should be able to set it also for the fleets if someone attack and u pushed the button like u do with realm alert the fleets will defend but it need with payment as the NOX and the realm alert
4) shield are a great idea how higher the shields are how mure powerfull ur ha'tak is
a = If an Ha'tak sends a fleet to and Asgard fleet ; for example the ha'tak has 600 shields and the Asgard fleet has 500 the ha'tak is able to lose shields but lets not talk frim shields but from % like they do in the series
Personnally i think it will need tons of work and i think if we want that we will need to wait long until we will have this , this would make the game more character to play , and give the abilitie to weaker ones to become more powerfull aswell than the bigger ones , But i support Wolf a bit in this situation the stronger ones will get stronger aswell cus they can afford more than the weaker does

I'm all for fleets, but we should have different types.
Your MS is the only upgradable ship. Then you can build others, who differ in strength. THey have different weapon and shields strenth. Plus there would have to be the transporter which would carry the troops (life support is already at 100% to keep the crews alife).
By building ships, you would have to pay an ammount of naq per turn for maintenance (the ammount would be set by the ammount and types of the ships you control).
That way we get a whole new fleet page, where you buy your ships and see the maintenace costs and everything. MS upgrades would move from armory, or the fleet page would just be a subpage of the armory page (as private broker or mercenary camp is to the marketplace).
