I'm proposing that we install a new secret weapon. I know ascended ppl won't like this! The weapon is called the San Graal and can destroy ascended beings. Well, it can descend ascended beings one level, but it cannot reset or take away their resources or weapons.

It would be available to main server and ascended server ppl. You would have to find a way to buy the weapon depending on certain factors (e.g. time of day, weapon sacrifice, unit sacrifice, naquada, attack turns, G&R points, and/or other things. You would have to sell/trade a minimum of whatever it took to buy the weapon, which would be huge.

The weapon in ascended would cost a lot more than the one in main. Ascended could possibly require to give up life points and ascended pts. since main doesn't have either of the latter.

Ranking would not go down, but the ascension level would. While it seems unfair to ascended people, ascended ppl are clearly more powerful than lower/main people. It would provide main people a way to fight the ascended people.

Make no mistake, it would be hard to try and figure out how to buy the weapon. The amount of stuff to buy it would be "astronomical." You would essentially have to trade almost everything to use it.

It could only be used once against one player. The weapon would have no effect against a main server player. Priors would be sent back to the main without losing anything or they could lose everything (except UP). This part isn't clear yet, but it could be developed further.

To mix it up even, the way you would buy the weapon would be based upon each race, even in ascension. The amounts to buy the weapon would ultimately be up to the administrators.

"How would you buy or trade such a weapon?" you ask yourself. Well, I was thinking you could make a room where you would trade or sell your units, weapons, and resources. You might possibly need your mothership and a certain mothership power to get to that room (which would be inside secret city on a secret planet). You could go to three different planets. Only one would allow you to get the weapon, while another could hurt you if you bought the wrong weapon.

This idea is based on the show but designed to help main people but is also designed to make the whole game fair.

I am not ascended, & voted no. There is, or will be, a mway to descend people once ascension server is completed (you ascend, kick the crap out of someone hard enough and he gets descended), so why having something else like your suggestion, to descend people.. ?

Secundo, you couldn't be "falser" when saying that ascended people are obviously more powerful than non-ascended, it's a debate that's already been discussed, you can achieve great power by both ways, there are alot of powerful non-ascended out there.

I'll also vote no, mostly for the reason Emma outlined...
We will already have a means to achieve an ascended 'kill'

That aside, I think the three planets bit needs a little reworking...
Perhaps if instead of a three planet system, you instead tie it to a normal planet search.

If your MotherShip has XXX power, it has XX chance of discovering a weapon holding planet. That planet acts just like a normal planet... except it provides you with the option to launch an attack against an ascended player.

Launching the attack is as costly as you suggest, and... Perhaps to make things easy on Forum, doesn't affect the ascended account. Instead, it removes one ascended rank, down to prior... and with the rank, the associated bonus.

Toss in some other factors, so that a n00b with no stats can't take Juan down to prior... and meh, if de-ascension wasn't available I’d consider voting yes.

as has been said, ascended aren't more powerful just because they are ascended. The word doesn't make a strong player. It's only a good player that can achieve strength with or without ascencion.
It's not going to happnen. Common suggestion number 2, new weapons.
Ascended have it actually harder. Their weapons cost much more than the difference in strength is. Plus unless you do like 3-4 ascencions, you're still worse off than if you hadn't ascended.

I wished people would stop complaining.
And unless that weapon would cost you several hundred bil and would annihilate your own account completely (since that is what ascencion costs are and i don't see a reason why a weapon should cost anything less, it should be multiple times the cost of ascencion actually) then most people will slap this off with a no.

I voted NO...man those who are ascended worked hardly and it will soon be avalible to deascend ppl so this suggestion is very bad...

Look I already fully aware of what the complications would be, but this would be more intriguing. Of course, ascended beings work hard to ascend but they have to have a weakness. The proposed method of knocking down ascended beings is hard and definitely requires a few people to know a player down. My way is MORE CREATIVE!

YOU GUYS ALSO FORGET , I am proposing that the cost of buying of such a weapon is almost requiring one player to sacrifice almost everything he/she has. I'm talking a lot of stuff to get it and it is hard to find the weapon.

i say no to this as well...ascended ppl rn't more powerful than normal races. i've seen weak LG and strong normal race ppl so put that thought to rest that ascended r more powerful...

iif it is then its because we know its balanced and we worked hard for what we got, if you work as hard as we did but dont ascend you could be in the top 500 at least
